Session Billing
Each session is billed at the time of service to ensure our therapists are fairly compensated. We are unable to provide a diagnosis prior to beginning services, as doing so would be clinically and ethically inappropriate.

Your Choice, Your Timeline
Therapy at Revelation Counseling is 100% voluntary. Because you pay on a session-by-session basis, you can choose to end services at any time. On average, most clients attend 8–12 sessions to meet their treatment goals, though your individual journey may be shorter or longer. You and your therapist will work together to set realistic expectations at the start of services.

Credit Card on File
When you schedule your initial appointment during your free phone consultation, a credit card is required on file. Your card will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation (less than 24-hour notice) or a no-show. The late cancel fee is $50, and the no-show fee is the full session rate. Your card information will never be used for any other purpose and is stored in a fully HIPAA-compliant system.

Out-of-Network Reimbursement (Superbill)
If we are not billing your insurance company directly for out-of-network services, we can provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

  • Many clients who submit their own claims receive reimbursements of 50–80% of their session cost

  • Always check with your insurance company first to confirm your out-of-network reimbursement benefits

  • Let us know at the time of scheduling if you plan to file for out-of-network reimbursement so we can confirm your therapist’s licensure is eligible
